From its start in 1908 as a normal school, the University of Mary Washington has prepared students to be the engines of society. To drive others forward. And to see themselves as key players in the quest to make things better.
The Fund for Mary Washington underpins every aspect for which the University is known and loved — a leading liberal arts and sciences education, small class sizes, personal relationships with professors and classmates, low average student debt upon graduation. Through your gift to the Fund, you help strengthen and grow the entire Mary Washington experience — you set it all in motion.
Your gift is vital to the University’s ability to offer scholarships, support faculty, and improve the student experience across campus. Your help provides the crucial flexibility the University counts on to respond to emerging challenges or seize opportunities to improve the educational experience for our students and faculty.
When you give to the Fund for Mary Washington you are choosing to be part of a community that is committed to giving back and to making the world a better place. This is who we are … and this is who you are.
Give to the Fund for Mary Washington so we can grow our ability to keep our University strong and affordable for today’s students … so they can focus on what matters for tomorrow.
With a gift to the Fund for Mary Washington of $2,500 or more ($1,250 for current or retired faculty or staff, $1,250 for alumni 11-15 years from graduation, and $500 or more for graduates of the last decade), you will become a member of the President’s Circle. Members are invited to special events and their names are listed on a special donor wall outside of the President’s Office in George Washington Hall.
Faculty and Staff can give via payroll deduction.
