The University of Mary Washington hosts recognition societies to acknowledge donors and recognize their generosity. (Matching gifts from a donor’s employer are combined when determining the donor’s level of recognition.)
- PRESIDENT’S COUNCIL
Donors to the Fund for Mary Washington with annual gifts of $2,500 or more are recognized as President’s Council members. (Graduates of the last ten years may qualify with annual gifts of $500 or more; graduates 11-15 years out may join with an annual gift of $1,250 or more.) Names of President’s Council members are listed on a donor wall next to the Office of the President in George Washington Hall. - WASHINGTON SOCIETY
The Washington Society recognizes those who have supported the University with gifts of one-time or lifetime giving of $100,000 and more. Names of Washington Society members are listed on a donor wall next to the Office of the President in George Washington Hall. - HERITAGE SOCIETY
