The UMW Washington and Alvey Scholars Program is one of the most prestigious at Mary Washington. These comprehensive scholarships help attract and reward high-performing students with exceptional academic credentials.
- Candidates for these scholarships are selected from incoming freshmen accepted into UMW’s honors admission program.
- The program includes Washington Scholarships for in-state students and Alvey Scholarships for out-of-state students.
- Establish a Washington Scholarship endowment with your name on it for a minimum gift of $1,000,000 or create a named Alvey Scholarship endowment with a minimum gift of $1,500,000.
