Eagle Engagement Center Ambassador Application - Eagle Engagement Ambassador "*" indicates required fields Step 1 of 3 33% Job Summary An Eagle Engagement Ambassador works under the direction of the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Student Supervisors to contact alumni and parents of UMW students to solicit financial support, update records, and answer questions. The calling cycle runs for 9-10 weeks a semester during the fall and spring semesters. Eligibility Requirements Currently enrolled full time student at UMW with a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.0 and successful completion of at least 75% of attempted classes in previous semester The Office of Financial Aid coordinates all student employment on campus. Paperwork must be completed with Financial Aid before you may work. Please review information on Student Employment web site; supporting documentation will include ID and ORIGINAL proof of citizenship (examples include passport, Social Security card, birth certificate, green card) so please ensure you have this documentation if you plan to pursue student employment. By doing so, associates have a lot of responsibilities when they talk to alumni and parents of UMW students. Job Duties and Responsibilities 1) Raise financial support: Our goal is to raise $550,000 from our 45,000 alumni and parents. 2) Raise alumni participation: Currently UMW has an 12.8 percent alumni participation rate. We are always looking to raise our participation rate! 3) Update alumni and parent records: Name, address, phone number, email, employer, etc. 4) Provide UMW updates: Campus building projects, sports, academics, student life, etc. 5) Confidentiality: Neither prospect records nor discussion of the same are permitted outside the Phonathon room.
